Twenty years ago, Michael Lee founded Tower with $2 million in capital, ten employees and a license to sell insurance in New York.
Today, the property and casualty company he leads provides insurance for more than half a million businesses and families across the country, generates $2 billion in premiums annually.
How we consistently outperform the industry.
In each of the last five years, Tower has grown its premium base by more than 25 percent. Since the economic downturn began in 2008, Tower has increased its operating income by 65 percent, while the P&C industry as a whole has lost value.
We carefully manage our risks and assets to drive profitable growth. We also develop and market unique, customized products rather than competing only on price.
